Always love our waiters and the food is phenomenal. My kids love it too! Tonight, Jeremy took great care of my family and was so nice to my 2 yr old.

Wow! Amazing food, charming place with a classy but cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. The Bacon Wrapped Quail and the Iron Star Cornbread were fantastic. So glad I found this place while traveling across the country.

Very great meal. Food hot and enjoyable. Food came out quickly and presented well on plate. Seasoned well. Good service. Ample servings. Atmosphere lively.

Awesome food BEST MAC AND CHEESE EVER!

Ordered the BBQ Club for lunch. Amazing! Brisket did not require any BBQ Sauce, but the sauce was good too. Mac and Cheese was delicious and not simple Kraft. Defiantly worth many more visits

Very unique barbeque restaurant. They try different things and it always seems to taste great. Their Cobb salad is one of the better salads I've ever had. I also get the special a lot and it has never disappointed.

Wonder food and riendly staff. I had the Thursday special, Frito Chili Pie, and I will get it again.

A very unique restaurant. Dont the the BBQ in the name fool you, this place has a huge variety of all types of food. Passionate tasting food along with the friendly servers!

It was a great place for a group get together. The food was good but the portions were small for the price...except for the CAKE. The chocolate cake was amazing and 4 of us shared it easily.

I loved the Mac and cheese!! Its the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. Everything it was good.

Really good barbeque in a nice upscale joint. Ribs fall off the bone. They were super tender and not fatty at all. I did the combo meal and got a lot of food. All of the sides were delicious too.

Hard to trust a barbecue place with ceramic plates, cloth napkins, a hostess stand, and menus, but the food was good. Brisket had great flavor if a little dry, sausage was great, mac and cheese was homemade and good. Creamed corn was excellent. The sauce though, is wonderful. TX and OK barbecue as rule can't do sauce to save their lives, but this place nails it. Will be back.

Loved this restaurant! My grilled salmon was delicious - the photo doesn't do it justice. great flavors and perfect portion, very reasonable pricing. Great atmosphere and service... thanks Christian for telling me about the Club Special - regretting not having a second one!!

We always pass by this restaurant and hear good things about it and never stopped due to us being selective on BBQ. We were nearby and said let’s try since it was late lunch, glad we did. Our waiter greeted us promptly and was friendly, welcoming and gave us recommendations. Wife ordered the rib dinner with Mac & cheese and potato salad. I had the combo dinner; slice brisket and peppered smoked sausage, Mac & cheese and seared green beans. The dry rub on both the brisket and ribs had a peppery/ hickory flavor, brisket was tender and cooked well, same with ribs and they weren’t tough. The smoked sausage was okay, a little dry for my liken but still had a good peppered flavor. I absolutely loved the house made potato salad; fantastic, same with seared green beans. For desert we tried the chocolate chip bread pudding with a mixture of white chocolate and glaze; absolutely delicious and not overbearing. We will be back and I highly recommend this BBQ.

Food was decent. Vegetable and meat portions were small , especially considering the price. They do have a small selection of tasty beers. If you are looking for a bare bones mom and pop Q joint this may not be the place for you. Conversely if you are looking for a restaurant that's trendy and has decent food and beer this is definitely your spot. Having said all of that I will definitely be going back to try some of the other menu offerings that they have.

The cobb salad is amazing! Especially with the BBQ ranch. The ribs were also good too. We will definitely be back when we come into town next. Highly recommend.

Amazing food. Great bbq and great sides. Often I've found if the bbq is great the sides can be lacking. Not here. Everything is amazing. Get the cornbread. And you can make reservations so you don't have to wait for a table!

Left my CC here for 3 days. They had it ready for me safe and sound. Not to mention they have some pretty delicious BBQ. Worth the trip if you've never been!

All I need to say is WOW! Food was amazing. Wish we had more time to go back for dinner. Farmers salad was great. I just substituted buttermilk ranch for my dressing. The corn dish was amazing too. I totally recommend to anyone to try this place. Cool setup too. A little industrial.

This was some DELICIOUS BBQ! I can’t say enough on how good the pulled pork and collard greens were! My friend loved her chicken sandwich too!

It has been a few years since I had Iron Star bbq, not sure why I haven't been going more often because I have been missing out! I took 2 of my employees to lunch to celebrate their 5 year service award. The service was top notch (Calvin I think?!) & the food was hot, fresh, delicious not to mention the presentation of the food was on point...you could tell they take pride in what they do. I had the pulled pork with the mac & cheese along with the red potato salad. The mac & cheese is made with a white cheese not that fake yellow stuff ha! The pork tasted like they just got it off the grill. The ladies both ordered the sliced brisket, they had the green beans and fried okra. They loved all of it, so much all of us cleaned our plates and had to roll out! *Tip: make reservations online on their website and get there a little earlier to find parking. This is a hot spot so it is always busy!*

We've held and attended many events here and it never disappoints. So good!!

Now food is interesting due to everyone's different taste buds but for me this is one of my favorite places to eat. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely the best I've had eating out. The potato salad is also excellent. Pimento cheese appetizer is really good. The brisket is too notch. Staff is always attentive. Daria today was awesome.

This is an excellent restaurant. Their BBQ is very good, but boy do I love the Pimiento Cheese Burger! Wait staff is great, in my experience. If you've never been, you should give it a try. The only thing that can be a problem is parking.

The food is great and so is the vibe! Service was a little slow, but the staff was nice. Not fond of the cornbread not being warm when served, but that Brisket though...made me feel like I was back in Texas!!! :)

Husband and I tried this for the first time yesterday. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We both got combo plates—pulled pork and chopped brisket with collard greens and baked beans & smoked sausage, ribs with mac and cheese and potato salad. Yummy!Mac and cheese is one of the best I’ve ever had. Collard greens were a little salty but it didn’t even matter, they were so good!And if you do anything, GET THE BREAD PUDDING. I’m normally not a fan of bread pudding because the ones I’ve had are just much. Their’s is not! Pretty sure you had to roll me out of the restaurant because I was just so full.

We went out to Iron Star Urban BBQ on Saturday evening around 7:30 pm and the website allowed us to set up a seating reservation and we basically walked up to the door and we were seated in about 5 minutes. The food was delicious!! I had the Brown Sugar Cured Brisket with Mac & Cheese and BBQ Baked Beans. My wife has the BBQ club sandwich and said it was amazing as well. We shared a slice of the Chocolate Pie (pictured) and it was super good.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Holy cow. It was almost a religious experience for me. Ask for the deviled eggs with the jalapeno chow chow. Have the raspberry mule. And of course the ribs! The attached picture is of the bread pudding: just look at that!!!

vegetarian at a bbq place? well my coworkers kept insisting so i had to try. brussel sprouts good. salad good. potato salad great. mac and cheese excellent! there’s nothing worse than when i go to a restaurant with omnivorous friends and family and there’s virtually nothing for me to eat cuz even all the vegetables have meat in them!! thanks u guys for giving me tasty options.

Excellent food. We ate everything off our plates. I had the pulled pork with mac and cheese and seared green beans. Very tasty. My other half ordered the half chicken which was just as tasty. Our server took care of everything we needed. Would definetely recommend.

We just had Iron Star for our first time today & we had a great experience! We got the bacon wrapped quail breasts as an appetizer & they were awesome! Definitely would recommend. Then we got the prime rib sandwich & BBQ club for our meals - which we also would recommend! I think my only caution is that the portion sizes are a little on the smaller side. However, their Mac & cheese and potato salad were soooo yummy. Also, since it was our first visit, they gave us a complimentary pie of the day which was SO GOOD. I would highly recommend this place. :) Food and service were 10/10.

While the flavor is there, for the price it isn't a great deal. Very small portions. I can get more for less at other bbq places with just as good, if not better, bbq.

In Oklahoma and craving some barbecue after a long day in the sun watching a couple of baseball games. We went to Iron Star Urban Barbecue, our server Christian was super nice, and our meals were great. I had the House Smoke Meat combo of ribs and brisket w/ side of fried okra and mac and cheese. My wife had salmon with similar sides. Great atmosphere and very reasonably priced.

So good. Also if you're looking to have some catering done check this place out. It seems pricey on the surface but if you do your research, its competitively priced for BBQ and on another level as far as quality. Highly recommended.

My first time eating here, sat at the bar. Bartender was friendly and provided good see ice, but was clearly overwhelmed with call in orders. I ordered the smoked turkey with double boiler sweet potatoes and “seared” green beans. The turkey had great flavor, with a nice thick smoke ring. BBQ sauce was what I would consider sweet and spicy, but was good. The sweet potatoes were cooked well, soft but not mushy, although there were some bits or root or skin that were inedible. The green beans were fresh, but a little under cooked and a little under seasoned. They also weren’t “seared. The portions were small for the price ($14). Atmosphere was nice, everything looked clean, it got very busy as lunch went on. All in all I would go back, the food was good, but there are more reasonably priced bbq options.

Omg this was best bbq ive still ever had. Their chicken actually had flavor even after you take the skin off, so it's been brined and marinated really well. Everything at this place was da bomb, try it out and see how good this place is.

Pleasantly surprised. I got the combo plate to try multiple meats. The brisket was so tender and flavorful and the chicken just as good. Fried whole okra and collard greens to top off a great meal.

The pimento cheese burger changed my life! Edit: I came again for lunch and had the smoked Turkey, It was moist and smokey. The collard greens are very good. I liked the greenbeans too. The lunch time crowd is busy, but the staff keeps up very well. If you can park, you can get a table.

5 stars for perfect food and service. Ribs and brisket tasted great, were tender and moist. Sauce is excellent! For the amount of meat served, the price is pretty steep.

Delicious food and accommodating staff! Try the chocolate cake!
